About Us

Pizza Posto is a mobile wood-fire pizza truck operating out of Geneva, New York. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft the highest quality pizzas and pannuozos for locals and tourists to enjoy.

Pizza Posto was born out of a desire to serve locally sourced ingredients from the Finger Lakes on pizza. We were always shocked that delicious meats and cheeses were being produced within 15 miles of Geneva, yet no one was putting them on pizza.

The average American meal travels 1500 miles to get from the farm to your plate. By using locally sourced ingredients, Pizza Posto drastically limits the harmful environmental effects of moving food over great distances.

After almost four years I finally had the best pizza ever here in America. Sam…the owner NAILED IT!!! It was a “little taste” of Italy… the place where I was born and raised. I got very emotional too. My congrats to you!”

“Came to the Finger Lakes for a long weekend and stumbled upon Pizza Posto at the Spotted Duck. My girlfriend and I were blown away by these wood fired pizzas. You could taste the freshness and we loved that all of the ingredients are sourced locally.”

“I can't say enough good things about this food truck and the people who run it! We hired them to serve food at our wedding and they went above and beyond to make us and our guests very comfortable. We served four pizzas at the wedding, the Margarita, the Mushroom, and then two pizzas that were a play off mine and the grooms name's that were customized. Guests were raving all night about food and the service. We had 100-110 people there and Pizza Posto was able to serve them all efficiently and timely. They brought everything they needed, even a chalkboard with the menu on it. We didn't need to do anything but pick out pizzas. It was a blast to have them and I would hire them again in a second.”

“We hired the truck for a graduation party and Pizza Posto was the key to making the party festive. The truck looks great (clean and good graphics), it's a fun idea, but most importantly everyone was raving about how delicious the pizzas were. Sam had told us he uses the freshest local ingredients and it does make a huge difference (i.e. one guest was going on and on about how good the prosciutto was). Couldn't have been any better!”

“This is the BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! Pizza Posto is a food truck that is 100% wood fired and focused on fresh and local ingredients. The pizza is European style with every element as delicious as it can be. The crust is fabulous: tender, yet chewy. Even the bits of char taste divine. The cheese is locally sourced and flavorful. The sauce is well balanced and the toppings are layered with flavor, with the bonus of being locally sourced... even the mushrooms. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The price is SPOT ON for the quality of the ingredients and the way in which the pizzas are prepared. We need more food trucks like this in the FLX!”

“I finally got to try this for the first time the other night, and wow this pizza is AMAZING. Truly some of the best wood fired pizza I have ever had. Only made better by knowing everything is fresh and supporting the local community! The sauce is super simple and delicious, and the dough is exactly how you want it. They are killing it. I will definitly be keeping an eye on where the truck will be parked!”

“I loved the distinct crunchiness of wood-fired dough, and the freshness of the pizza sauce was ah-mazing. I had the pepperoni and mushroom pizza, both were delicious.”
